Every year in the month of November, men around the world go on a public display of their manliness by growing their beard. It’s a celebration called Movember (combination of ‘moustache’ and ‘November’) to raise awareness around men’s health issues such as prostrate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide. This movement was started by the Movember Foundation in 2004, to “change the face of men’s health” and has only grown its support year on year.
In Mumbai too men have started sporting their unconventional beards to support the Movember cause and some retail outlets have cashed upon this opportunity to offer discounts to men!
